Additional information: My discovery of this material had the effect on me of a mirroring of self examination. It gave me an insight into my grandmother's hitnherto unknown problems of separation and displacement. I investigated collage as a way of reinforcing the poetic aspects of time and memory in a series of 75 collages I created "shadows" of the real writing.
