Additional information: In 2019 Stephen accepted an invitation by the Consulate of Lebanon to attend the Diaspora in Action conference and exhibit artworks from his The Migration Series (1992-2002) at the opening of the Diaspora Museum, Batroun, Lebanon:At this time part of the artist’s archive was donated to the permanent Collection returning his grandmother’s memories to her ancestral home country. The same year Copland’s video work titled Drifting through Data was selected for exhibition at the 2nd Biennale of Contemporary Art, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. Alita/Byblos, Lebanon.
